Pivorta legal

AI and Generated Content Policy

Version 1.0 · Last updated July 25, 2026

This policy is incorporated into the Pivorta Platform Terms. It applies to every Design Studio session, AI redesign, catalog-polish workflow, generated image, AI-assisted text, and related output.

What an output is—and is not

An AI-generated or edited image is a conceptual visual direction based on available inputs. It may omit, add, alter, or inaccurately portray features, scale, finishes, products, fixtures, existing conditions, or site constraints. It is not a photograph of completed work and does not guarantee that a final project will look, cost, perform, fit, or be completed as shown.

Pivorta does not provide architectural, engineering, surveying, inspection, code-compliance, permit, safety, legal, tax, warranty, pricing, or construction advice. The remodeling company remains responsible for qualified field measurement, site review, structural and concealed-condition assessment, product verification, scope, cost, labor, permits, codes, and all homeowner representations.

Permissions and privacy

Before uploading or processing a photograph, plan, customer detail, logo, trade mark, catalog asset, or other material, the Customer must have authority to use it and to permit its processing by Pivorta and its configured service providers. Customer must provide appropriate homeowner notice, obtain consent where required, and avoid unnecessary sensitive information. Customer must not upload content obtained unlawfully or content that reveals another person’s home, face, location, account, or confidential information without authorization.

Output rights and provider processing

Customer retains rights in its input content. Customer receives whatever rights it may have in an output, subject to law and the applicable third-party provider terms. Pivorta does not claim ownership of Customer Content or represent that any output is copyrightable, unique, non-infringing, or available for exclusive use.

Pivorta may use Customer Content only under the limited service license in the Platform Terms. Pivorta will not train its models on Customer Content or enable provider model-training use without Customer’s separate affirmative opt-in.

Prohibited uses

Do not use the AI or Design Studio to:

  • claim that an image is an actual completed project, exact design, approved plan, or guaranteed result;
  • make a false, misleading, discriminatory, unsafe, or unlawful representation;
  • generate a construction, engineering, safety, code, permit, or professional conclusion without qualified review;
  • create or alter media to deceive, defraud, impersonate, harass, or violate privacy/publicity rights;
  • submit unlawful, infringing, confidential, or unauthorized content;
  • remove or obscure safety features, property defects, warning labels, or conditions in a manner that could mislead a recipient; or
  • use output as the sole basis for a price, quantity, scope, or homeowner contract.

Pivorta may restrict or suspend AI features to protect people, comply with law/provider terms, enforce usage limits, or investigate misuse.

Customer presentation rule

Before showing an AI output to a homeowner or recipient, Customer must display the Customer-facing Design Visualization Disclaimer. Any image or proposal that includes it must identify the contractor that is making the offer. Customer must not imply Pivorta is the contractor or a party to the customer agreement.
